Capacity building

The main objective of SNIP-AFRICA’s training and capacity building activities is to provide African researchers, clinicians, and other collaborators active within the SNIP-AFRICA architecture with knowledge and skills to conduct adaptive and other complex trials. Particular attention will be devoted to critical aspects of trial conduct in resource-constrained settings and in vulnerable populations.

Training activities will revolve around three key areas:

All materials and activities will be co-designed between contributors from African and European partners, under the leadership of the Global Health and Infectious Diseases Research Group at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana), to ensure they address aspects relevant to sub-Saharan African settings.
